Tourism Uganda

Located on the shores of Lake Victoria, Uganda is an East African country with many tourist attractions. Its capital Kampala is home to contemporary skyscrapers, sumptuous villas and cultural centres such as the Ugandan Museum and the Lubiri Palace, which is located near the city.

Uganda is also a diverse landscape, from the largest lake in Africa (Lake Victoria) to the Rwenzori Mountains. It has a fauna composed mainly of chimpanzees and rare birds.

It is also known for its national parks and reserves such as Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, which is known as a mountain gorilla sanctuary, and Murchison Falls National Park, located in the northwestern part of the country, with a 43-metre waterfall and hippopotamuses.
