Tourism Kampala

Located on a series of hills on the shores of Lake Victoria, Kampala is the largest city and capital of Uganda. Economic, commercial and cultural centre of the country, you will find in this city exquisite charming hotels and lively restaurants.

It also houses museums that trace the country's history and also introduce you to Uganda's tribal heritage, such as the Ugandan Museum, located to the east of the city. In this same part of the capital you will find churches, Hindu temples and mosques, the most famous of which is the Kibuli White Mosque.

To the south of the city is Mengo, the capital of the kingdom of Buganda in the 19th century, where there is the Lubiri Palace where the former headquarters of the kingdom of the Bugandas are located.
