This is a private flight package organized by local flights from Entebbe International airport to Kidepo Valley airstrip from where your safari for the following 3 nights will begin. The safari is organized privately and exclusively for luxury clients. We organize the local ground transfers with a 4X4 safari jeep from the lodge. Visit Kidepo Valley National Park and witness hands on this unspoiled beauty exposing before you a wealth of diverse nature and tranquil scenery.
Detailed Itinerary
Day 1: Transfer from Entebbe by local flights up to Apoka airstrip
Depending on your flights into Entebbe international Airport you will be met by our company representative who will brief you about the Uganda wildlife safari in Kidepo valley national Park. The domestic flight to Kidepo is scheduled at 12:30pm and arrival at the airstrip is at 14:45pm. Arrival at Apoka park headquarters, check in luxurious Apoka Lodge for relaxation as you wait for dinner and overnight.
Meal plan: Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner
Day 2-3: Activities in the park
This morning after breakfast, embark on an early morning game drive through the park to encounter Zebras, Giraffes, and many more that roam the short grassland plains of the Narus valley. The Scenic view is splendid with Mt. Lotukei in the far background in the Sudan. Lunch at the lodge. In the afternoon, embark on another game drive along the Nagosokopire circuit. Appreciating beautiful sunset behind the long Nangea ranges gives you perfect opportunity for taking pictures. Return to your lodge for relaxation for dinner and overnight.
Breakfast and transfer to the hot springs, past a nice Lopelangoria observatory point, Kidepo River up to the Hot spring. This scenic area will bring you close to the Hot spring and observe almost the entire park, and be able to sight the ostriches as they roam the short grassy plains. Come back to the lodge for lunch. After lunch have nature guided walk. Return to your lodge for relaxation, dinner and overnight.
Day 4: Transfer back to Entebbe by local flight
Have breakfast at leisure and prepare to board your domestic flight back to Entebbe international Airport scheduled departure at 15:00pm and arrival into Entebbe airport at 16:30pm and connect to your international flights back home.
