8 days expedition/Uganda
Day 0: Arrival at Entebbe airport international. You will be picked by the company representative and the appointed driver guides who will transfer you to the hotel, have a briefing and dinner and overnight at Serena Hotel kigo
Day 1:Tour Ngamba Island.
A relaxed morning breakfast, drive to L.Victoria the largest Freshwater body in Africa shared by Uganda, Kenya and Tanzania and board a ferry or boat to Ngamba Island. This is a home for orphaned chimpanzees. You will have lunch at the lodge later you can get to see them as they feed and socialise. Dinner and overnight at Brovad lodge
Day 2: Visit the source of the Nile.
After your morning breakfast, we will board the ferry back to Entebbe and continue to the source of the Nile in Jinja through Kampala the capital city. You will have lunch in Jinja town, after lunch tour the source on the Nile. Later we drive back to Kampala for an overnight. Dinner and overnight at fareway hotel
Day 3: Transfer to Murchison Falls N.Park
After an early morning breakfast, you will be picked from your hotel and drive to Murchison falls national park Masindi district in north western Uganda. The park is about 300kms by road from Kampala, Uganda’s capital city. You will have lunch on arrival and later go for an afternoon siesta where the driver /guide will help you spot a plethora of wild life. This may include buffaloes, elephants, lions, leopards, giraffes, kobs, impalas among others. Various birds might be spotted too like the hornbills, bee-eaters, king fishers, storks, Egyptian plover, chestnut crowned sparrow weaver, rock pranticole, red winged grey warbler, pulvus illadopsis among others. Dinner and overnight at Murchison River lodge
Day 4: Game drive and a launch cruise
After breakfast, go for a game drive and return for lunch.( For the second activity/ boat cruise, we will have it in groups) In the afternoon 1st group get on a boat cruise to the bottom of the falls where the waters of the majestic Nile river squeeze through a narrow gorge, only 7m wide before plunging 43m below. You might also spot crocodiles, hippos, elephants and many others while on the boat. You can hike to the top of the falls. Dinner and overnight as above.
Day 5: Another game drive and a launch cruise.
After a relaxed breakfast, head for a game drive to spot the animals we could have missed previously, return in time for lunch. After lunch second group heads for a launch to the bottom of the falls whereas the other heads for a hike to the top of the falls. Dinner and overnight as above.
Day 6: Transfer back Kampala
After a relaxed morning breakfast,we drive through the park retuning to Kampala. Lunch will be on the way. Dinner and overnight at Protea Hotel
Day 7: Kampala City tour.
After a relaxed Breakfast, we will visit the places of interest in Kampala like the Kasubi tombs ( the site where the Buganda kings are buried), Uganda martyrs shrine Namugongo(the burial site for the martyrs who were were killed by the Kabaka Mwanga of Buganda kingdom) , the Bahai temple (the only one of its kind in Africa), Uganda museum, snake park kajjansi, have lunch and later drive to Entebbe. Dinner and overnight Serena hotel Kigwo Entebbe
Day 8: 18th April 2019: After your morning breakfast, you will be transferred back to the airport for your return Flight.
