The 3-day wildlife safari includes the following activities; Two game drives on the northern bank in Murchison falls, A boat ride along the Victoria Nile and chimpanzee Trekking in in the gazetted area of Kaniyo Pabidi in Budongo Forest which lies in the area of the Albertine region forming part of the great rift valley.
Detailed Itinerary
Day 1: Transfer to Murchison Falls National Park
Pick up from your overnight accommodation in Kampala by our safari guide. Begin by driving North West of Uganda on a 6-hour road drive to Murchison Falls National Park. Make a stop at the Ziwa Rhino sanctuary, where you will have a nature walk in the breeding home of the rhinos to encounter these endangered species. Lunch along the way and proceed with the journey to the magnificent Murchison falls where you will marvel at the breath taking beauty of the mighty Nile River forced into a seven meter crevice to thunder 43meter’s below in a series of cascades. The sight of the Nile River, the world’s longest river, winding its way through the park and plunging through a narrow gap is unforgettable. You can view this spectacular sight from the top of the falls. Dinner and overnight at overnight accommodation of your choice

Drive Time: 6 – 7 hours
Day 2: Game Drive and Boat Cruise in the Park
After an early morning breakfast, embark on a game drive on the northern banks of River Nile. Return to the lodge for lunch. After lunch take a boat ride on the Nile whilst viewing the animals Hippos and crocodiles, different species of birds. The boat cruise will take you to the foot of the mighty Murchison falls offering great photographic opportunities of the marvel nature. Then head back to the lodge at leisure. Spend the rest of the evening at leisure. Dinner and overnight as previous night

Day 3: Budongo Chimpanzee Trek – Transfer to Kampala
Have an early morning breakfast then transfer to Budongo forest for half a day primate walk in search of the various species of primates that inhabit this forest like the Black and white Colobus Monkey, Red tailed Monkey, Baboon, Grey Cheeked Manga bay or the Chimpanzees. After your trek, take a quick lunch and begin the journey back to Kampala arriving in the evening.
