Day 1: Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park
Arrival at the airport and you will be picked by your driver guide and transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park via the Equator. We make a stopover at the equator for pictures and souvenir shopping. Have lunch on the way in Nbarara and later proceed with your journey to Bwindi reaching in the evening. Dinner and overnight stay at Buhoma community rest camp or Bwindi view bandas.
Day 2: Gorilla Tracking in Bwindi
After an early morning breakfast, gather at Buhoma the Park headquarters for a briefing from the Ranger Guide of Uganda Wildlife Authority. You will be briefed about the Gorilla tracking protocol and once this is done, you will set out with your packed lunch and penetrate the Jungle forest to search for the rare Mountain Gorillas. The time taken to track gorillas is unpredictable and it can take 2- 10 hours. Dinner and overnight stay at Buhoma community ret camp or Bwindi view bandas.
Day 3: Transfer back to Kampala
After breakfast, you will transfer back to Kampala with lunch en-route in Mbarara town. Reach Kampala in the afternoon. Drop off will be at your Hotel or airport for return flight.
