Overview
Volcanoes National Park is the Rwanda section of the more extended Virunga Conservation named named after the chain of nine volcanoes which make its territory, including Karisimbi (4.507 m), Bisoke, Sabinyo, Muhavura. The altitude ranges from 2400 m to the 4.000 and above of the peaks. Enjoy your gorilla trekking in Rwanda.
Detailed Itinerary
Day 1: Arrival and Transfer to Hotel in Kigali
Depending on your time or arrival into Kigali International airport, you will be met by our company guide who will transfer you to your hotel in BB.

Budget: Golf Hills Residence Hotel.

Drive Time: 1 hour
Day 2: Transfer to Volcanoes National Park
This day after breakfast at your hotel in Kigali, you will transfer together with the guide to the quiet and peaceful town of Ruhengeri where you shall make a short tour to the two twin lakes of Burera and Ruhundo. The drive has stunning scenery. Lunch and dinner and overnight at your choice of accommodation

Drive Time: 3 hours
Day 3: Gorilla Tracking Rwanda
This morning after an early breakfast, you will report to the park headquarters in time for the briefing conducted by the Rwanda park officials. Make sure you have your packed lunch and a bottle of water as you enter the forest for your gorilla trekking activity. The trek is short and usually lasts about 6 hours. Time spent with the gorillas is strictly 1 hour for conservation purposes. Later, you will prepare to transfer back to Kigali for your International flights. Reserved for late evening flights through Kigali International airport
