Day I: France-Dakar
Receive us at the airport, then transfer to Toubab Djalao and spend the night at the Sobo Badé camp.
Day II: Toubab Dialao-Bandia-Kaolack
Discover the Bandia classified forest (700 ha), home to 30 to 40 species of animals. Lunch on site and departure for Kaolack. Overnight at Relais de Kaolack.
Day III: Kaolack/Tamba/Niokolo
Departure for Tambacounda, capital of eastern Senegal. Lunch in Tamba and departure for Niokolo, a 900,000-hectare UNESCO World Heritage site where over 70 species of mammals and many birds live together. Dinner and overnight at the Simenti camp.
Day IV: Niokolo-koba
Leave for a 4 x 4 day to discover the animals. Enjoy the many waterholes where animals such as herbivores, lions and elephants come to drink. Picnic in the park, dinner and overnight at the camp.
Day V: Niokolo-Wassadou
Leave for a trip on the Gambia River through lush landscapes, birds and monkeys, picnic lunch by the river, afternoon visit to the Kédougou market and overnight at Wassadou.
Day VI: Bassari-Dindefello country
Discover the Bassaris villages, the most landlocked and picturesque place in Senegal. Meet the Ibel and D'Iwol peoples at the foot of Fouta Djalon and Mount Bassari, the highest point in Senegal. Picnic lunch and departure for the Dindefello waterfalls on stony tracks. A walk will gradually plunge you into a haven of coolness at the falls. Swimming possible in the natural pool. Return to the Wassadou camp.
Day VII: Kédougou-Mako
Leave for Mako, the village of gold miners. Arrive at the camp, relax by the pool with its breathtaking view of the river, where you can watch the hippos at play. Overnight in Mako.
Day VIII: Mako-Tamba-Kaolack
Departure for Tamba, visit of the town, its market and the train station linking Dakar and Bamako lunch and continuation to Kaolack, dinner and overnight at the Relais de Kaolack.
Day IX: Kaolack-Dakar
Departure for Dakar capital of Senegal City Tour of Dakar (Presidential Palace, Flower Market, Cathedral of African Remembrance), lunch in town afternoon departure for visit to Goree Island (largest transit center, slave trade in West Africa) and departure for the airport flight to France.
Day X: Arrival in France
