Description
The village of Turtles is at the heart of the special botanical reserve of Noflaye placed under the supervision of the Water and Forests service. Its protected, intact and unexploited biotope is the last in the Dakar region. This program helps to protect species and prevent them from disappearing. Senegal has 11 species of turtles, 4 of which are marine.
