This 4 Day Eco-Friendly Kruger National Park package will allow you to have the best wildlife experience with limited impact on the environment. Our Eco Camp has been built using natural materials of stone, wood, thatch and canvas and makes use of solar power and gas.
Our 4 Day Eco Kruger Park Safari tour gives a unique yet unforgettable experience in the heart of the African bush. The eco-friendly camp lies just outside of the world-renowned Kruger National Park. It is a short 10-minute drive along the border of the Sabi Sand Private Game Reserve to the Paul Kruger Gate, which is one of the main entrances into the Kruger National Park.
During your Safari you will spend your days soaking up the beauty and tranquillity of the breath-taking game reserve and the wildlife that inhabit it. Watching a pod of hippo’s playing in the river, a lioness crouching in wait of her prey or the sky lit up in the vibrant reds and oranges typical of an African sunset are experiences that are hard to put into words. They are experiences that have to be witnessed first-hand.
Encounter Africa’s Big Five – lion, leopard, rhino, buffalo and elephant, as well as an abundance of other wildlife and birds on this authentic African safari. Our skilled and passionate guides make sure you get the most out of your game drives in the Kruger, leaving you with fond memories of this majestic area that you will look back on for many years to come.
Your accommodation will be in African-styled tented rooms perched on raised platforms create the perfect ambiance for your safari stay. The tented rooms are equipped with everything you need, including twin beds with linen and African design bedspreads, side table with lampshade, comfortable chairs, plug points and a fan. A short distance away from your tent along a well-lit path is your own private bathroom fitted with basin, toilet and shower. Shower toiletries, bath towels and swimming pool towels are provided.
This tour operates daily from Johannesburg and pick-up is possible from your hotel or OR Tambo International Airport. On your return, we travel back to Johannesburg via the scenic Panorama Route. You will get back to Johannesburg by about 17:00, where we drop you at your hotel or the airport.
- Day 1: Johannesburg to Kruger National Park
Your 4 Day Kruger Park Safari starts with a private transfer in a comfortable air-conditioned vehicle from Johannesburg to the Eco Camp, located on the border of the Sabi Sand Private Game Reserve.
On arrival, you will have time to be greeted by the tranquil sounds of the bushveld surrounding the camp and familiarize yourself with the camp before heading out on a late-afternoon and sunset drive in the Greater Kruger area.
After your game drive, you head back to the Eco Camp for pre-dinner drinks and a hearty South African dinner before retiring to the comfort of your private safari-style tent for a good night’s sleep. Meals included: Dinner

07:00 - 08:00 - Day 2: Kruger National Park
Your guide will wake you at first light to enjoy a fresh cup of coffee or tea and light snack while watching the sky light up with exquisite shades of oranges and gold as the sun rises over the plains of Africa. Filled with anticipation, you set out into the Kruger National Park for your morning drive in search of the Big Five and an abundance of other wildlife.
A full breakfast buffet with an accompaniment of fresh fruit, yoghurts, and freshly baked muffins is served back in the Eco Camp after a rewarding wildlife viewing drive in the Kruger. Cool off in the swimming pool under the warm African sun, or relax and unwind under the shade of the trees, enjoying the peace and tranquillity of your surroundings before a light lunch is served and your afternoon game drive in the Kruger Park begins. Whether it’s serenely watching a herd of elephant feast on the vegetation or watching from the edge of your seat as a warthog family runs for their lives as a pride of lions investigate their den, you never know what the African bush has in store for you each day. On arrival back at the Eco Camp you are invited to relax with pre-dinner drinks and a delectable South African dinner served around the camp fire in the outdoor boma – weather permitting – before retreating to your private tent for a well-deserved night’s sleep. Rise and shine to the beauty of the African bushveld bathed in soft morning light while enjoying early morning tea and coffee and a light snack, before setting out on a morning drive into the Kruger Park in search of Africa’s Big Five (Lion, leopard, elephant, rhino and buffalo) and an abundance of other wildlife.
After your morning drive, you will enjoy a delectable breakfast and some leisure time to relax and enjoy your tranquil surroundings in the heart of the African bush. You can also enjoy the communal pool at the camp.
Light lunch is served around 14:00 before you embark on an afternoon drive into the Kruger National Park, in an open safari vehicle allowing you to experience the South African bushveld up close.
On arrival back to the Eco Camp you are invited to unwind with pre-dinner drinks and a traditional dinner served in the outdoor boma around the campfire (weather permitting) or main dining area before retreating to your private tent for a peaceful night’s sleep.

On our final day and after breakfast, we depart from the camp and travel back to Johannesburg via the scenic Panorama Route. This journey takes you through breath-taking mountain scenery and quaint towns in one of South Africa’s most beautiful regions.
Highlights of the scenic Panorama Route include God’s Window, Lisbon Falls and Graskop.
Your incredible 4 Day Eco Kruger Park Safari ends back in Johannesburg around 17:00 when you drop you at the hotel or airport, taking the special memories of your unforgettable safari home with you.
