Day 1: Zanzibar – Flight to Arusha – Tarangire National Park. Catch a morning flight from the tropical shores of Zanzibar to Kilimanjaro International Airport. Upon arrival, you'll be met by our safari guide and transferred directly to Tarangire National Park. Spend the afternoon immersed in the park's unique landscape, famous for its large herds of elephants, towering baobab trees, and diverse birdlife. Enjoy exciting game drives, seeking out lions, giraffes, zebras, and various antelope species. In the late afternoon, you'll head to your overnight accommodation near the park.
Day 2: Ngorongoro Crater – Return to Zanzibar. After an early breakfast, embark on a scenic drive to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Descend into the breathtaking Ngorongoro Crater, a UNESCO World Heritage site and a natural wonder teeming with wildlife. Spend the majority of the day exploring the crater floor, where you'll have excellent chances of spotting the "Big Five" (lion, leopard, elephant, rhino, and buffalo) and a multitude of other animals. Enjoy a picnic lunch within the crater before ascending in the mid-afternoon. You'll then be transferred to the airstrip for your flight back to Zanzibar, arriving in the late afternoon or early evening with incredible memories of your Tanzanian safari.
