Day 1
Morning pick-up in an air-conditioned vehicle: Accra location of your choice
Depart on a scenic drive through the Accra plains towards the Volta River. Watch for the baboons along the road as we are passing Shai Hills. Visit at a bead workshop near the Volta River to watch this interesting handcraft. Enjoy a relaxing moment at a nearby hilltop with a grand view of the river & dam. Accommodation at a mid-range hotel
Day 2
Motorboat the Akosombo dam, holding the world’s 2nd largest man-made lake. Explore the Tetteh Quarshie cocoa farm, Ghana’s first cocoa farm, est. in 1879.
Visit the Aburi Botanical Gardens, Ghana’s most beautiful garden that offers a rich collection of tropical flora which attracts many birds and butterflies.
