Arrive at Kilimanjaro International Airport this evening and transfer to our hotel at River trees Country Inn booked on Bed and Breakfast
After breakfast, get your equipment ready for our first safari in the Ngorongoro Crater arriving in time for lunch at Ngorongoro Serena Safari Lodge. Ngorongoro Crater is the world’s largest inactive, intact volcanic caldera and home to around 25,000 large animals. After lunch, we head to our photographic safari in this great park. Zoom in on bird life from marabou storks to rainbow-hued lovebirds; and test your wildlife photography skills on elephants, rhinos, cheetahs, and more.
After breakfast, return to the crater floor for a sunrise breakfast and photo safari coming back to the lodge at lunch time. Take the afternoon to relax and look over your images.

After breakfast, travel through the Ngorongoro Highlands for a very special opportunity to visit the Maasai community. Capture the spirit of traditional song and dance, and enjoy time to work on portraiture and photographing daily life here. After lunch, continue with our safari to our lodge in the Southern Serengeti, looking out for lions, cheetahs, and leopards along the way.

After breakfast at the camp, we go for our morning game drives in the park in search of resident lion prides, cheetahs, giraffes, and bountiful herds of wildebeest, elephants, and zebras coming back to the camp in time for lunch.

The vast herds of wildebeest trek annually from Kenya’s Maasai Mara to the southern Serengeti in search of new grass during the short rains then back again. The wildebeest migrate with thousands of zebra, whose superior vision and hearing serve as an early warning system for predators. Alternatively, enjoy an early morning hot-air balloon safari for a bird’s-eye view of the landscape, followed by breakfast under the shade of an acacia tree in the midst of the vast Serengeti.
