Day 1 Nairobi to Amboseli National Park
You will be picked up from your hotel at 8 a.m. and journey to Amboseli through Namanga on the Tanzania border, then arrive at Amboseli on time for lunch. After lunch, there will be a full afternoon game drives. After that, the group will return for Dinner and overnight at Amboseli Kibo Luxury safari Camp or Similar Meal Plan Lunch and Dinner
Today you will be spending a full day in Amboseli for an early morning and evening game drives. While in the park, you will have the opportunity to capture a photograph of the animals against the wonderful backdrop of Mount Kilimanjaro. Dinner and overnight at Amboseli Kibo Luxury safari Camp or Similar Meal Plan Lunch and Dinner
After an early breakfast, the group will depart for Tsavo West National Park which lies roughly half way between Nairobi and the Coast. The group will visit Mzima Springs, the chief marvel here is a favorite haunt of hippos and crocodiles.
Arrival at Kilaguni Serena Lodge and in time for lunch. There will be an early evening game drive to see large herds of elephants, buffalo, common waterbuck, eland, rhino, and a wide variety of antelope. The group will depart the lodge soon after breakfast and proceed to Tsavo East National park. This park was famed for its large herds of elephants covered in red dust and fine scenery. You will get to visit the scenic Lugards Falls, Mudanda Rocks (attracts elephants in the drier season), and Aruba Dam as we view game if time permits. The group will spend a full day exploring the park, morning and afternoon game drives are offered as well. The landscape in Tsavo East is flatter and drier, despite having one of Kenya’s largest rivers flowing through the middle. Much of the wildlife is concentrated on the Galana River, it has plentiful of crocodiles and hippos. Likewise, kudus, waterbucks, and dik-diks are common along the river banks as well.
