Masai Mara Safari Package: This safari features Maasai Mara National Reserve. The safari departs Nairobi in the morning and involves a drive down to the the floor of the Rift Valley, making a stop at view point to see the escarpment and the awesome sight of the valley and the features there in. To arrive Maasai Mara in time for lunch, followed by a late afternoon game drive that introduces you to Kenya’s most popular game sanctuary.
Detailed Itinerary
Day 1: Nairobi / Maasai Mara Game Reserve
Depart Nairobi in the morning and drive to the floor of the Rift Valley to Masai Mara Game Reserve arriving Narok Town where you will enjoy your lunch. Later we proceed to Masai Mara and we head for afternoon game drive. Dinner and overnight at the Keekorok lodge.
Approx transit time: 5½ hrs.
Day 2: Maasai Mara Game Reserve
Spend the day in Masai Mara, Kenya's most popular game sanctuary where you will have the best opportunity of spotting the Big Five - lion, leopard, buffalo, rhino and elephant.
Game drives are flexible, with the option of going out with picnic lunch boxes to spend entire day in the the park, or you can choose to have early morning and late afternoon game drives. You will also have the option of visiting a local Masai village (US$20 per person).
All meals and overnight at the lodge.
Day 3: Maasai Mara / Nairobi
You will enjoy another morning game drive in Mara after breakfast, and then drive back to Nairobi in the late afternoon. You will be dropped off at your hotel or the airport.
