These fly-in safaris are perfect for visitors to Kenya who have limited time to spare, or would simply like to add on a few nights to an existing trip. Trips depart from Nairobi’s Wilson Airport and include return flights, all transfers, meals, an English speaking driver-guide, and 4x4 vehicles with a guaranteed window seat. With the snowy peaks of Mount Kilimanjaro as a backdrop, Amboseli makes the perfect location for a short fly-in safari. Here one can always expect to see herds of elephant, Cape buffalo, giraffe, many varieties of plains game as well as a few predators.
Day 1: Nairobi – Amboseli
Early pick from Nairobi’s Jomo Kenyatta International Airport or a city hotel and transfer to Wilson Airport for the scheduled flight to Amboseli National Park. The flight departs Nairobi at 0815hrs and arrives into Amboseli at 0855hrs. Upon arrival, you will be met by a guide from the Ol Tukai Lodge and depart for your first game drive en route to the lodge. Following lunch, there will be an afternoon game drive returning to your lodge as the sun sets for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 2: Amboseli
Morning and afternoon game viewing in the park with possible clear views of the highest mountain in Africa, Mt Kilimanjaro. This is a perfect backdrop to herds of elephant, Cape buffalo, giraffe the many species of plains game that are found here. All meals and overnight at the lodge.
Day 3: Amboseli – Nairobi
Following breakfast, there will be a game drive en route to the airstrip for the scheduled flight back to Nairobi. The flight departs Amboseli at 0905hrs and arrives back to Nairobi at 0950hrs. Upon arrival, you will be met and transferred to a city-center hotel where your safari ends.
