3 DAYS TANZANIA CAMPING (BUDGET) SAFARI ARUSHA NATIONAL PARK -TARANGIRE -NGORONGORO
This 3 days Tanzania camping (budget) safari expedition to Arusha National Park, Tarangire National Park and Ngorongoro Crater offers a multitude of memorable experiences in a short amount of time. The Safari game drives allow you to visit and explore Africa’s wildlife habitants which hosts many species of animals and vegetation Tarangire is known for the plains of savannah and their immense elephant herds while for Ngorongoro is the infamous big five and marvel at the colossal landscape of the crater and the notably different coloured Momela Lakes, and the 3km wide Ngurdoto Crater at Arusha National Park.
TOUR ITINERARY
Once you have arrived safely at Kilimanjaro airport you will be met by one of our friendly driver who will transfer you to White House Hotel in Moshi. Should you arrive early you can explore the small town of Moshi, which is only a short taxi ride away, or you can just relax at the lodge and get ready for the days ahead. You will also meet with one of our operations staff and Guide who will explain everything you need to know regarding your safari.
>>> After breakfast, you'll depart from your Arusha or Moshi accommodations and drive to the park. After your entrance to the park you will embark on a game drive through the park. Your drive will pass you past park landmarks such as the Momella Lakes and Ngurdoto Crater - sometimes known as 'Little Ngorongoro'
Also, your Safari Vehicle will go under the Fig tree (Ficus thonningii) whose roots have grown to take the shape of an arch, large enough for a Safari car (elephant size) to pass underneath you may stop get out of the car and take pictures. During lunch you will stop at a picnic site where you will have your lunch there after proceed with the game drive. At around four you will start leaving the National park for Arusha where you will spend the night!
OVERNIGHT AT ARUSHA>>> We will depart for Tarangire National Park early in the morning. Once we arrive in Tarangire we will begin exploring the enormous termite mounds and the ancient baobab trees. This park is renowned for its diverse bird species and extensive population of elephants. There are regular sightings of ferocious lions, giraffe, warthogs, ostriches, impalas, cheetah, mongoose, buffaloes, and mischievous baboons. At around four you will depart from the National Park and drive to Manyara for dinner and overnight. .
OVERNIGHT AT MANYARA ( MTO WA MBU )>>> We will have an early start to the day to ensure that we complete the itinerary for the day which includes a magnificent game drive with a picnic lunch in the crater. Animals infrequently migrate in and out of the crater due to its elevated walls. This means you are capable of spotting every member of the big five in one day. The big five comprises of buffalo, elephants, rhinos, lions and leopards. Some of the other wildlife that you can expect to see includes zebras, hippo, wildebeest and hyenas.
The craters also feature an extensive bird population including geese, storks and vultures. You will be graced by the lovely flamingos on the Soda Lake. Our guides are highly skilled and will impress you with their ability to track down animals. This is a skill that a book cannot teach you and that a selected few can perform. Your trip will come to an end in the late afternoon and we will proceed to Arusha/Moshi.
