Day 1: Dar es Salaam – Kigoma – Gombe Stream National Park
Pick up from the place of stay in Dar es Salaam and transfer to Julius Nyerere International Airport for your flight to Kigoma by Air Tanzania which depart around 0900 am, arrival Kigoma at 1200 and met with your guide and will transfer to one of the Restaurant in town for lunch, after lunch transfer to the Port where you will take the boat to Gombe, Boat ride will take 1.5 to 2 hour through the clear crystal water of lake Tanganyika. Afternoon you will have Chimpanzee trekking accompanied with park guide, The chimpanzee trekking ill help you to experience nature with all your senses, the forest is host a variety of birds life and several species of primates includes the most prime the chimpanzee which I our most closest living relatives. Dinner and overnight at Gombe Rest House.
Day 2 : Full day Trekking Gombe
Breakfast then enjoy another day of chimpanzee trek in the forest, The guide will explain to you all about the different chimpanzee families and their interesting behaviour that is so close to us humans. You will also see butterflies, birds and snakes. Gombe Stream National Park became well-known for the conservation project started by Jane Goodall, who first arrived in Gombe in 1960. You will climb to Jane’s peak and visit Kakombe waterfalls. Later after lunch we will trek back to your accommodation for short rest, Dinner and overnight at Gombe Rest House.
Day 3: Gombe – Kigoma – Dar es salaam
Morning breakfast at Rest House then collect your things and connect boat back to Kigoma, arrival Kigoma and transfer to Airport for your Flight back to Dar es salaam.
