Tour description :
Overland transfer to the fishing village of Ambatozavavy in the south of the island, from where you'll board a traditional rowing pirogue. You'll then row east to Lokobe along the mangrove swamps.
Our local guide will then lead you into this unspoilt world to discover nocturnal and diurnal lemurs (Macaco and Lépilémur), reptiles, boas and chameleons, insects and tropical birds of all kinds...
During this 2h30 walk in total immersion, you'll discover
Your guide, with his knowledge of the local tropical flora and fauna, will teach you all about the reserve's diversity and tell you all the secrets and legends of this sanctuary. A hearty local lunch awaits you at the foot of the reserve, served in the shade on the seafront.
In the afternoon, you'll be free to explore the village and its inhabitants, who will show you their ancestral skills with the help and translation of your guide.
