The archaeological park of Ahouakro is located in the department of Tiassalé in the region of Agneby-Tiassa 145 km from Abidjan. With an area of 57 hectares, it presents itself as a world of GRANITIQUES monuments.
It is an exceptional site that is the showcase for all of the local heritage. It consists of a group of imposing granite rocks whose volume varies between a few tens of cubic meters or even a hundred. Their size, their anthropomorphic or zoomorphic aspect as well as their sometimes precarious balance give the site a particular character.
The Archaeological Park of Ahouakro is a site of great interest. It reflects natural, CULTURAL, scientific and prehistoric (Neolithic) dimensions. These elements are rich and diverse nationally and globally.
