Adventure program:
Day 1:
- Depart Abidjan for Yamoussoukro, about an hour's track from the city, we'll meet our local guide PABLO (aka pablito).
- ! Then, while we wait to prepare our trusty steeds, the initiation session begins for the very beginners! Confirmed BIKERS will go to meet the chief to give the news (traditional procedure to signal your presence to the village chief).
- Pablo will take care of finding THE bike that matches each of you, according to your level! Then, after a quick driving course where everyone can familiarize themselves with their machine, we'll load up our bivouac packs and WE're finally on the road! Heading for LA BROUSSE!
- In the late afternoon, we set up camp, followed by an outdoor movie under the stars!
- Overnight in a tent or hammock, or for the bravest under the stars, your choice.
Day 2:
- Departing early in the morning, we return to the village quietly to share a small drink with the chef. For those who are comfortable you can continue with route 66 ivoirienne towards the kossou dam, after a few dozen kilometers, we meet up for a relaxing and refreshing break in the waters of the Bandama.
- After a well-deserved picnic we're back on the road towards Abidjan, with a break in Yamoussoukro.
To pack in your bundle:
- Closed, high shoes if possible, to protect the malleoli.
- Thick trousers
- Nose cover, or scarf to protect against insects and dust.
- Top: opt for a denim shirt or long-sleeved tee, so that your shoulders are protected.
- A sweater or fleece for the bivouac
- Swimsuit
- Sunglasses
- Mosquito repellent
- Pocket knife
- a lamp
- a towel
- ecofriendly toiletries ( ask us if needed)
- Personal belongings
- AND ESPECIALLY a water bottle or thermos! ( It's more comfortable, it keeps your water fresh and as we travel responsibly, we limit plastic production, water will be at your disposal).
