On this Uganda safari you will have a week of the most amazing and the different gems that the country has to offer. Watch the chimpanzees jump from tree to tree in Kibale, the elephants drift around in Queen Elizabeth and the gorillas in the Bwindi Forest National Park. Enjoy beautiful sailing and hiking and exciting visits to local villages and you will have a week of experiences for the rest of the year.

DAY 1: ARRIVE IN ENTEBBE

Welcome to Uganda! You land at the airport in Entebbe, a suburb of the country's capital, Kampala, in the middle of Africa, on the banks of Lake Victoria.

Here you will be met by warm temperatures, no matter what time of the year you travel, and the friendly locals who are ready to show you their country. You will be picked up by our guide, from there you are driven to your hotel for check in.

An organized evening visit to the Ndere troupe a cultural perming arts group for Ugandan cultural music and performances with traditional meal cuisine. This will always occur to our clients when they can arrive on the days of Wednesday, Friday and Sundays putting in mind the afternoon flights of Emirates, Quarter and Etihad Airways.

DAY 2 ENTEBBE KIBALE NATIONAL PARK

After breakfast, at 08:00am head to Kibale National Park, this route is scenic with green covered hills of tea plantations on to your first lodge and have the first animal experiences. You arrive for lunch and will then be driven to the ​​Bigodi community where you will join the locals in basket weaving for the ladies and coffee and local Beer brewing for men as activities done by the communities living around the Kibale forest.

DAY 3 CHIMPAANZEE TRACKING KIBALE FOREST

After breakfast at the lodge at 07:00am, you will go along with your guide to the visitor information center for briefing and enjoy the chimpanzee trekking in Kibale National Park, where you will see the wild chimpanzees floating around in the woods of the rainforest. After this truly unique experience, as well as a light lunch in the beautiful surroundings of the forest, enjoy and evening nature walk in the Bogodi community swamp where you will go for a walk on wooden bridges and trails in the moist nature, where you can find an extremely diverse wildlife in the trees.

You may see abundant primates like baboons, Black and white colobus and many other species of monkeys. Here are also see several bird species such as the gray African parrot, blue turaco or the perennial rhino birds. When you are lucky, you can also see the big Crowned Crane, which is Uganda's national symbol.

DAY 4 DRIVE TO QUEEN ELIZABETH AND COMMUNITY VISIT

Driving down the Rwenzori Mountains, Africa's highest mountain range, also called the Moon Mountains, there will be ample opportunity to get out and enjoy the spectacular views. You also stop at the center of the world, equator, where you can stand a foot on every hemisphere and see the monument that marks where the line goes.

You arrive at your lodge in Queen Elizabeth National Park afternoon, After lunch, you drive to the villages on the foot hills of the Rwenzori Mountains to visit coffee farmers to learn more about the people living on the foot hills  and their way of farming.

DAY 5 GAME DRIVE AND BOAT TRIP QUEEN ELIZABETH NATIONAL PARK

Queen Elizabeth national park is one of Uganda's most popular national parks because of an overwhelming animal kingdom and different geological features.

After the morning breakfast, head in jungle on an early game drive where you look for the many wild animals. You can see calm elephants hurry across the road, chances of seeing leopards on the fig trees and many other wildlife. On the way back to the lodge you stop at the Katwe Salt Crater, where you can see how they mine salted locally.  After lunch, you will be on a cruise on the Kazinga channel, where you will have a look at the different species of birds and lots of animals along the channel as well viewing the hills of the Democratic Republic of Congo on the other side of Lake Edward. 

These experiences can be talked about over a nice dinner in the lodge where you have the last night.

DAY 6 BWINDI FOREST NATIONAL PARK

In the morning, after a good morning meal in the Queen Elizabeth National Park, you will head off to Bwindi Forest National Park. Drive to the jungle to do a morning game drive before heading to Bwindi Forest.

After an idyllic drive through one of the most spectacular volcanic landscapes, you arrive at the lodge overlooking the Forest.

DAY 7 GORILLA EXPERIENCE

The day is dedicated to the Gorillas, you get an early cup of morning coffee or tea and a warm breakfast thereafter, drive out to the park to trek the Gorillas. Under the experienced guidance of your guide, you move on foot into the part of the rain forest where the huge animals live. There are only 700-800 left of them in the world, and about half live here. Some of them are going to stand close to you - an experience we guarantee you will never forget!

DAY 8  DRIVE FROM  BWINDI TO ENTEBBE

After the morning breakfast, you will drive to Lake Mburo national park through the rolling hills and farmland, enjoy lunch at the lodge and evening rewarding game drive to see lots of wildlife and abundant birdlife. Overnight at Rangeland Mburo lodge

DAY 9  DRIVE FROM LAKE MBURO  TO ENTEBBE FOR FLIGHT.

After a warm breakfast, drive Entebbe  with a short stop at the equator arriving late morning and prepare for the flight in the afternoon.
