Detailed Itinerary
Day 1: Arrival and Transfer to Buffalo Springs
Your safari begins with a warm welcome in Nairobi, where the Jossec Safaris team will greet you and provide a pre-safari briefing. We then embark on a scenic drive to Buffalo Springs National Reserve, known for its lush vegetation and tranquil atmosphere. Upon arrival, check in at Ashnil Samburu Camp or an equivalent lodge and enjoy some downtime before an exciting evening game drive. Expect to encounter elephants, giraffes, and a variety of colorful birds.

Day 2: Explore Buffalo Springs and Transfer to Samburu
Wake up to the sounds of nature and set out for a morning game drive to explore the rich biodiversity of Buffalo Springs. After breakfast and check-out, we travel to Samburu Sopa Lodge in Samburu National Reserve. Once you’ve settled in and had lunch, head out for an afternoon game drive in Samburu. This reserve is home to the unique “Samburu Special Five”—the Grevy’s zebra, Somali ostrich, reticulated giraffe, beisa oryx, and gerenuk.

Day 3: Full Day in Samburu National Reserve
Today is dedicated to exploring Samburu National Reserve in-depth. With a full day in the wilderness, you’ll witness predators such as lions and leopards, alongside herds of elephants and zebras. A picnic lunch in the bush ensures that you spend maximum time immersed in this incredible ecosystem. As the sun sets, return to your lodge to relax and enjoy a sumptuous dinner.

Day 4: Transfer to Ol Pejeta Conservancy
After breakfast, we journey to Ol Pejeta Conservancy, Kenya’s premier conservation destination. Upon arrival, check into Sweetwaters Serena Camp or an equivalent lodge, followed by lunch. In the afternoon, head out for a game drive to explore Ol Pejeta’s unique offerings, including the last Northern white rhinos and the famous chimpanzee sanctuary. Don’t forget to look out for lions, rhinos, and other iconic wildlife species.

Day 5: Morning Game Drive and Return to Nairobi
Start your day with a final game drive in Ol Pejeta, making the most of your last moments in the wild. After breakfast, we begin our journey back to Nairobi. Our Jossec Safaris team will ensure a smooth drop-off at your hotel or the airport, leaving you with memories of a truly exceptional safari experience.
