Description

3 Days Amboseli

In addition to being the greatest location in Africa to see free-ranging elephants, Amboseli National Park is also well-known for its other wildlife inhabitants. The park also offers a breathtaking view of Mount Kilimanjaro, the world's highest free-standing peak, and the chance to interact with the Maasai people. In the case of Amboseli, it's vast skies and far horizons paired with marshy springs and dry, dusty ground that's been trodden by hundreds of animals. The two crystal-clear springs located in the center of Amboseli Park are fed by an unending subsurface water source that is filtered through thousands of feet of volcanic rock from the Kilimanjaro ice cap.

Day 1: Nairobi to Amboseli

You will be picked up from your hotel and transferred by road to Amboseli National Park, lying below the most famous symbol of Africa, Mount Kilimanjaro. It is here that photographers will hope to shoot the classic picture of the elephant or giraffe standing against the dramatic backdrop of the snow-capped mountain. Arrive at your lodge in time for lunch and an afternoon game drive until sunset.

Day 2: Amboseli National Park

Today, depart after breakfast with picnic lunch boxes as you set off on your full-day game drive. Today you will have a chance to spot different wildlife, including the big 5, giraffes, zebras, as well as a variety of bird species. Dinner and overnight at your accommodation.

Day 3: Amboseli to Nairobi

Early morning game drive followed by breakfast. Check out and depart to Nairobi, Kenya’s colorful capital city. Upon arrival, you will be dropped off at your hotel or transferred to Jomo Kenyatta International Airport for your onward flight.
